ClickTime Version 8.99

ClickTime Version 8.99 includes the following updates:

  • REST API v2 – Added the “SubjectToTimesheetCompletion” property to the /Me endpoint.
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue with the /Reports/TimeSummary/Weekly REST API v2 endpoint for people with middle-of-the-week start dates that could result in overlapping time periods getting returned.
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue with the REST API v2 in which a company with DCAA compliance enabled might be able to perform timesheet approval actions without entering an explanatory comment.
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue with Azure SSO when a person’s name included an accented character.
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue that showed an unnecessary warning message to some people when attempting to disable audit logging.

ClickTime Version 8.98 includes the following updates:

  • REST API v2 – Our comprehensive documentation now includes the sort order used by each endpoint.
  • Audit logging cannot be separately disabled when DCAA compliance is enabled.
  • Bug fix – Clicking on links in some emails resulted in errors for some people. This is now fixed.

ClickTime Version 8.97

ClickTime Version 8.97 includes the following updates:

  • QuickBooks Desktop Connector – A new version is available that updates the embedded help links to properly show the relevant help topic. Also, we fixed a bug in which time entries were not labeled properly if an error occurred during the export. To get the update, you’ll need to uninstall the current version and download and install the latest version from the Integrations option under the Company tab.
  • REST API v2: Reports/Time – We updated the response description for the Reports/Time endpoint to provide more clarity.
  • Leave Types – Marking all “approval required” Leave Types as “inactive” will now hide the Time Off option from the Personal tab.
  • When projects, people, clients or tasks can’t be inactivated due to running stopwatches, the messaging is updated and includes a link to a tool to help resolve the stopwatches.
  • Improved performance when adding new Leave Types with audit logging enabled.
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue where custom terminology was not properly capitalized when the custom term includes more than one word (e.g. Project Center).
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue in which entering a new person and tabbing through the password fields prevented the person from being added successfully.
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue with the Bulk Update Leave Type balances tool in which balances did not get updated if modifications to future dates already existed.
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue with DCAA requirements in which a comment wasn’t required after midnight passed and a person saved a time entry modification for what is now “yesterday.”

ClickTime 7.7

The release of ClickTime version 7.7 includes Project Budgets, support for a new currency and Resource Planning improvements. Here's what's new in this release:

  1. Project Budgets (beta) – Now you can track the progress worked towards your company's projects (billable and non-billable) through the new "Project Budgets" (beta). To learn more, or to enroll in our program, contact us.
  2. Detail Person – We made several enhancements to the new page for adding and editing people. We also added a link to a video tutorial about getting the most out of this new interface. The new page will continue to be rolled out to additional companies over the next few weeks.
  3. DCAA – Administrators may now submit and approve timesheets for inactive employees.
  4. New Currency – We added the Bosnia and Herzegovina Convertible Mark. You can now enter your expense receipts in this currency. You may also select the Convertible Mark currency as your company's primary currency via Company Preferences.
  5. Report Builder – Added "dd/MM/yyyy" as a formatting option for custom formulas.
  6. Online Help – Updated and improved content.
  7. Resource Planning Reports – We harmonized the way "Percent of Billable Hours Goal Worked" is calculated in different Resource Planning reports.

ClickTime 7.65

The release of ClickTime version 7.65 includes reporting, Resource Planning and visual improvements. Here's what's new in this release:

  1. Detail Person – We made various improvements to the new page for adding and editing people. The new page will continue to roll out to more companies over the next several weeks.
  2. Currency Display on Reports – Companies using an ISO currency code (e.g. USD rather than $) will now see the code to the right of the monetary amount value in reports.
  3. Resource Planning – Filter Performance – We improved the performance of the ""People available for the selected projects"" filter.
  4. Bug fix: DCAA and stopwatches – We fixed an issue that prevented people with DCAA compliance requirements from restarting stopwatches.
  5. Bug fix: Resource Utilization Summary Report – Allocated hours will now be properly displayed.

ClickTime 7.53

The release of ClickTime version 7.53 includes improvements to Automated Notifications and DCAA compliance. Here's what's new in this release:

  1. DCAA – We now allow companies who enable DCAA compliance to enter zero-hour timesheet entries in the past. We also no longer require the person to enter a comment when adding time off entries for a date in the future.
  2. Account Number – You can now retrieve your company's account number by clicking on your name in the upper right corner after signing in to ClickTime.
  3. Bug fix: Automated Notifications – Timesheet approvers will get emailed reminders at the appropriate time about timesheets waiting for approval.
  4. Bug fix: Resource Planning – Fixed an issue that could cause inactive people to be shown.
  5. Bug fix: People List Search – Fixed an issue when searching the list of employees.
  6. Bug fix: Print Expense Sheet – The "Print Expense Sheet" button will work properly again.

ClickTime 7.41

We are happy to announce the release of ClickTime version 7.41 with improvements to the company dashboard, reporting and the employee detail page. Here's what's new in this release:

  1. Design Preview of Employee Detail Page – We improved performance when performing historical updates to billing and cost rates, and fixed various issues.
  2. Report Builder – You may now use "Role" in your custom reports including summaries, sub-totals, charts and cross-tabs.
  3. Bug fix: Company Dashboard – Recent Timesheet Status – Clicking the "Full Report" link now creates a report exclusive to the people displayed in the dashboard panel.
  4. Bug fix: Company Dashboard – Projects to Watch – Managers with permission to create and edit projects but without permission to view Resource Planning data may no longer use the "Projects to Watch" company dashboard panel.
  5. Bug fix: DCAA – Fixed an issue with entering the explanation for changes to a DCAA-flagged timesheet entry that contained a near-maximum length time entry note.
  6. Bug fix: DCAA – Fixed an issue that caused DCAA-flagged timesheets to be identified as "changed" when using the "tab" key to navigate through timesheet entries.
  7. Bug fix: Project List View – Fixed an issue that caused custom billing rates to be incorrectly displayed in the project list view.
  8. Web Browsers – ClickTime continues to offer best-in-class browser support. We support the recently released IE 11, Chrome 30 and Safari 6.1. We also support the Windows 8.1 operating system. Check out the ClickTime system requirements for more information about supported browsers.

ClickTime 7.4

We are happy to announce the release of ClickTime version 7.4 with improved single sign-on (SSO) options and enhancements to Resource Planning and the employee detail page. Here's what's new in this release:

  1. Single Sign-On (SSO) – Enterprise-level accounts can now sign in to ClickTime using SAML-based single sign-on (SSO) via OneLogin. Our new partnership with OneLogin lets ClickTime Enterprise users easily integrate with Active Directory.
  2. Design Preview of Employee Detail Page – Administrators can now edit managerial settings on the new employee detail page. Managers may now also use the new employee detail page.
  3. Resource Planning – We made it easier to filter people and projects by increasing the default selection window size and by remembering your selections while editing saved filters. You can now also set your company preferences to hide the "Non Allocated" project from Resource Planning. IE 8 users can now also view the lifetime budget chart. 
  4. List Views – Billing rates and cost rates are no longer visible in people, project and task lists when viewed by managers who do not have permission to "view costs" or "view billing rates" in reports.
  5. Bug fix: New Projects – Fixed an issue when creating a new non-billable job for companies without Resource Planning and lifetime budgets enabled.
  6. Bug fix: DCAA – Fixed an issue that may prevent editing old time entries on a DCAA-flagged timesheet.
  7. Bug fix: Report Previews – Report preview images now display on the client and project detail pages.
  8. Bug fix: Week View – You can now properly view old timesheet entries that are associated with inactive types of time off.
