ClickTime Version 9.57

ClickTime Version 9.57 includes the following updates:

  • Company Holidays: Company Holiday Lists have been updated through 2025. See our documentation for more information.
  • Mileage Reimbursement Rate Update: The rate used to calculate deductible mileage expenses recorded in ClickTime has been updated for 2023. The IRS issued a new optional standard mileage rate of 65.5 cents per mile, effective January 1, 2023.

ClickTime Version 9.39

ClickTime Version 9.39 includes the following updates:

  • Support for up to 90 day Time Off Requests  – We are extending the maximum duration of a single Time Off Request from 30 consecutive days to 90. This is respected in the Web App, and will be supported in our Mobile app in an upcoming release.
  • Time off requests are now pre-filled with expected working hours – A new company preference allows a company to define the default hours per each day of the week in time off requests. These hours pre-fill the request form, but can be overwritten or cleared.

ClickTime Version 9.31

ClickTime Version 9.31 includes the following updates:

  • Grant Allocation Report Flat File – This is a flat, workbook compatible version of the Grant Allocation (Excel) report. The Grant Allocation Report calculates the % of each employee’s time spent across clients & projects, and attributes time off in direct proportion to time worked.
  • 2024 Company Holiday Lists – We’ve added preset Company Holiday lists for 2024.
  • Juneteenth added to US Bank Holidays – We’ve added Juneteenth to the US Bank Company Holiday lists for 2022-2024.
  • Bug Fix – Increased the Project drop-down selector width on Expense Entry
  • Bug Fix – We resolved a display issue related to the leave type balance shown on the  person detail leave type page, the “Time Off and Accrual Detail (Excel)” report on the Company tab, and the “Time Off and Accrual Detail” report on Personal tab. This issue caused an incorrect balance to appear, only when a person had multiple time off events on the same date for the same leave type.

ClickTime Version 9.18

ClickTime Version 9.18 includes the following updates:

  • Time Off Data in BI&A – Time off data is now available in ClickTime’s Business Intelligence & Analytics. Leave type name, category, notes, active status, and accounting package ID’s can now be accessed in BI&A reports through the TimeAndTimeOffData data source.
  • Global Report: Planned Time Off (next week) – We released a new BI&A global report that shows the hours and days of time off that appears on people’s timesheets in the upcoming calendar week. This provides insight into how time off will impact team capacity in the immediate future. 
  • Global Report: Time and Time Off Detail by Person (past 30 days) – We released a new BI&A global report that shows all logged time per person for the past 30 days, broken out by Project or Leave Type.
  • Time Entry Completion Improvements – We enhanced the appearance of the option for toggling between displaying people with “Daily” and “Weekly” completion requirements.
  • Bug fix – Fixed issue in Project list view search when Lifetime Budget column is displayed.
  • Bug fix – Fixed issue resulting in discrepancies of the time off accrual balances.
  • Bug fix – Fixed issue that caused a delay in Project Insights data refreshing.

ClickTime Version 9.13

ClickTime Version 9.13 includes the following updates:

  • NonProfit Setup Wizard – We made various improvements to the setup wizard for NonProfit organizations.
  • Time Off Requests – improved performance when making time off requests and approving them, especially for requests for longer periods of time.
  • Time Off Reports – Updated preview images for two time off reports that appear in “My Reports” under the Personal tab to clearly identify the images as showing sample data and not the logged-in person’s actual time off history.
  • SOAP – All requests to the SOAP API must now be made securely (https).
  • Bug fix – Fixed issues so that people who sign in with Single Sign-On (SSO) get returned to the appropriate SSO login prompt after signing out of the ClickTime web app.
  • Bug fix – Fixed issue in which a person was directed to the wrong page after clicking a link an Expense Sheet Approval notification email and authenticating using Single Sign-On (SSO).

ClickTime Version 9.10

ClickTime Version 9.10 includes the following updates:

  • REST API v2 – Added various GET and POST endpoints for making, managing and approving time off requests. See the “TimeOffRequests” section of the REST API v2 documentation for a list of the new endpoints.
  • REST API v2 – Added the ability to retrieve which time off types (a.k.a. leave types) are available for a specified person through the new GET /Users/{userID}/TimeOffTypes and GET /Users/{userID}/TimeOffTypes/{timeOffTypeID} endpoints.
  • REST API v2 – Added the ability for a manager to retrieve which time off types (a.k.a. leave types) are available for a specified person through the new GET /Manage/Users/{userID}/TimeOffTypes and GET /Manage/Users/{userID}/TimeOffTypes/{timeOffTypeID} endpoints.
  • REST API v2 – Added the ability to retrieve your expected time off balance for a date in the future via the new GET /Me/TimeOffTypes/{timeOffTypeID}/FutureBalance/{date} endpoint. The endpoint takes into account any expected future accruals and forthcoming planned time off.
  • REST API v2 – Added the ability for a manager to retrieve a specified person’s expected time off balance for a date in the future via the new GET /Manage/Users/{userID}/TimeOffTypes/{timeOffTypeID}/FutureBalance/{date} endpoint. The endpoint takes into account any expected future accruals and upcoming planned time off.
  • Added ability to populate your company’s 2023 holiday list with standard holidays for various countries.
  • Bug fix – Project Insights might stay visible after turning off the feature. This is now fixed.
  • Bug fix – A manager will no longer get a 403 error when calling the GET /TimeOffTypes/new endpoint.
  • Bug fix – A 404 error referencing “ResourceNotFound” will now properly get returned when calling the PATCH /Me endpoint with an empty “DefaultTaskID” value.

ClickTime Version 9.08 includes the following updates:

  • REST API v2 – Added ability to create a manager when authenticated as an administrator and using the POST /Users endpoint.
  • REST API v2 – Updated the GET /Me endpoint to include the following additional properties: isTimeOffApprover and isDefaultLeaveTypeApprover.
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue with the Business Intelligence & Analytics feature in which entering text into a drop-down filter didn’t dynamically filter the drop-down list of options.
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue in which the Divisions option wasn’t shown in the Company tab for some customers.
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue in which a manager with “override” permission didn’t properly see the “Submit” option when viewing another person’s timesheet.
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue in which an Externally Managed Leave Type entry could be deleted when an admin or a manager with override permissions viewed another person’s timesheet.

ClickTime Version 9.02

ClickTime Version 9.02 includes the following updates:

  • Time Entry Completion – Easily and quickly see who’s been logging hours on time and who’s lagging behind. Notify or override incomplete time entries with the push of a button. Access it from the Timesheets section under the Company tab or the “Full Report” link from the “Time Entry Completion” dashboard panel. This offers additional functionality compared to the legacy Incomplete Time Entry report.
  • BambooHR Integration – We now integrate with BambooHR in multiple ways. You can provision new users in ClickTime as you add them to BambooHR. We also support managing your time off with BambooHR and automatically importing that time off into ClickTime directly into people’s timesheets.
  • REST API v2 – Added the “SubjectToTimesheetCompletion” filter to the “GET /Users” endpoint.
