ClickTime Version 8.97

ClickTime Version 8.97 includes the following updates:

  • QuickBooks Desktop Connector – A new version is available that updates the embedded help links to properly show the relevant help topic. Also, we fixed a bug in which time entries were not labeled properly if an error occurred during the export. To get the update, you’ll need to uninstall the current version and download and install the latest version from the Integrations option under the Company tab.
  • REST API v2: Reports/Time – We updated the response description for the Reports/Time endpoint to provide more clarity.
  • Leave Types – Marking all “approval required” Leave Types as “inactive” will now hide the Time Off option from the Personal tab.
  • When projects, people, clients or tasks can’t be inactivated due to running stopwatches, the messaging is updated and includes a link to a tool to help resolve the stopwatches.
  • Improved performance when adding new Leave Types with audit logging enabled.
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue where custom terminology was not properly capitalized when the custom term includes more than one word (e.g. Project Center).
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue in which entering a new person and tabbing through the password fields prevented the person from being added successfully.
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue with the Bulk Update Leave Type balances tool in which balances did not get updated if modifications to future dates already existed.
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue with DCAA requirements in which a comment wasn’t required after midnight passed and a person saved a time entry modification for what is now “yesterday.”

ClickTime Version 8.95

ClickTime Version 8.95 includes the following updates:

  • Change Approver for Multiple People – Using new options from the “Actions” menu on the People list view under the Company tab, you can now change the timesheet, time off and expense approvers for multiple people at the same time. This makes necessary changes easier when people are on extended leave or transitioned into different roles.
  • We added a “Date Created” column to the Customizable Data Export report. This column shows the creation date for each time entry.
  • Bug fix – Resolved a couple of minor issues with the Expense endpoints in REST API v2.
  • Bug fix – Fixed issue that could result in Quick Week adding hours past a person’s end date.
  • Bug fix – Fixed issue with the “find and replace” time off that might cause an incorrect time off balance to be displayed.
  • Known issue – People using Internet Explorer (IE), which is no longer supported, cannot submit timesheets for approval from Week View. Attempting to do so will result in an error.

ClickTime Version 8.93

ClickTime Version 8.93 includes the following updates:

  • Administrators can now add and subtract leave type balances in bulk by navigating to the Advanced page under the Company tab and clicking on “Update Leave Type Balances”.
  • Added a Mobile App page under the Personal tab so people can learn more about our new mobile app for iOS and Android.
  • Bug fix – Resolved an issue when creating new jobs with the REST API v2 that would incorrectly update job and task list controls.

  • Time Off Explainer – We’re helping Administrators ensure that people are choosing the right leave types when entering time off by adding a “Time Off Explainer” to the various Time Off entry pages, including Day View, Week View and the Time Off Request form.

ClickTime Version 8.81

ClickTime Version 8.81 includes the following updates:

  • Our Integrations page is updated to reflect additional SSO options and the currently-supported versions of QuickBooks.
  • Improved the look-and-feel of the “Time Off and Accrual Detail” report available from “My Reports.”
  • Bug fix – We resolved several miscellaneous issues with Resource Planning.
  • Bug fix – People using a specific version of the Safari browser will no longer lose their session when submitting, rejecting or approving expense sheets.
  • Bug fix – We resolved an issue when adding a person that could result in an Accrual Rate not getting saved if the corresponding Leave Type did not also have a Maximum Balance.

ClickTime Version 8.70

ClickTime Version 8.70 includes the following updates:

  • Timesheets can now be Submitted (or unsubmitted if necessary) directly from Week View. This is available for companies using a weekly timesheet model.
  • We improved performance when loading the Project List management page.
  • Bug fix – We resolved an issue to allow companies who use Company Holidays but not Time Off requiring approval to access the Company Holiday Time Off page.

ClickTime 7.94

The release of ClickTime 7.94 included several updates to our REST API, visual changes to the Company Dashboard page, and the addition of the Macau currency. Here’s what’s new in this release:

  1. REST API – Several upgrades were made to the backend of our REST API for future developments.
  2. Company Dashboard – Several stylistic changes were made to the Company Dashboard page.
  3. Currencies – Per request from a customer we’ve added the Macau currency to ClickTime.
  4. Sign Up – A new sign up page was created on www.clicktime.com.
  5. Bug Fix: Time Off History – We addressed a few small issues with the display on the Time Off History page.
  6. Bug Fix: Default Task – We addressed an issue where an unavailable Task was loaded when new time entry rows were added.

ClickTime 7.92

The release of ClickTime 7.92 included the ability to delete Time Off modifications as well as other front-end updates. Here’s what’s new in this release:

  1. Time Off Deletion – We now allow Administrators and Managers to delete Time Off Modifications they may have made in error.
  2. Time Off Accrual – Clear All – We implemented a new function that will clear an employee’s Time Off Accrual Model so Administrators no longer need to manually delete the fields. We also addressed a bug that prevented the Maximum Accrual amount from being removed.
  3. Job Detail Pages – Organizations that do not have Billing Rate Features enabled will no longer see options for Billing Rates on the Client Detail pages.
  4. Report Builder Custom Fields – We updated the Report Builder tool to display Custom Fields in a more obvious order.
  5. Bug Fix: February 29th – We addressed an issue that prevented users from selecting February 29th from the report date picker.
  6. Bug Fix: Time Off Detail – We addressed an issue that prevented the Time Off Detail pages for loading for employees with double-quotes in their name.

ClickTime 7.43

We are happy to announce the release of ClickTime version 7.43 with improvements to reporting and the employee detail page. Here's what's new in this release:

  1. Employee Detail Page Beta – We added support for custom fields and fixed issues displaying timesheet and expense sheet approvers in the updated beta version. Please try it out today and let us know of any issues or suggestions you have.
  2. ExpenseSheetsByClickTimeExpense Sheet - The printable expense sheet report now includes submission and approval details and displays your company logo if desired. It also references which expenses have receipt images that can be downloaded.
  3. QuickBooks 2014 – We verified that the ClickTime Connector for use with QuickBooks® is compatible with QuickBooks 2014.
  4. Reporting – Several project reports now offer a new filtering option. Companies configured to restrict project access on a "per division" or "per department" basis will now see a new "divisions" tab in the report filtering options. Selecting a division produces a report that includes only those projects to which that division has access.
  5. Bug fix: Reporting – Fixed an issue where clicking the "select all" option didn't always select checkboxes for inactive projects.
  6. Bug fix: Reporting – Fixed an issue where the "Time Off and Accrual Detail" report displayed an incorrect starting balance.
