ClickTime Version 9.42

ClickTime Version 9.42 includes the following updates:

ClickTime Version 9.34

ClickTime Version 9.34 includes the following updates:

  • Billing Goals and Capacity by Month Report – This new report is useful for determining people who are not meeting their billing goals month-over month. It shows performance towards a billing goal with information about working capacity and time off. This report is available to all accounts with Resource Planning.
  • QuickBooks Integration – We’ve updated the QuickBooks Connector and system requirements to reflect that QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2022 and QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise 2022 are supported. To get the update, you’ll need to uninstall the current version of the QuickBooks Connector and download and install the latest version from the Integrations option under the Company tab.

ClickTime Version 9.14

ClickTime Version 9.14 includes the following updates:

  • Performance Improvements & bug fix – We resolved an issue that was preventing browsers from properly caching some static content.
  • Security Improvements – all non-secure requests (http) are now automatically redirected to be secure requests (https). Additionally, we now send HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) headers so that modern web browsers automatically know to always make secure (https) requests.
  • QuickBooks Integration – updated system requirements to reflect that QuickBooks Pro, Premier and Enterprise versions 2018 and newer are supported.
  • Bug fix – Fixed issue that prevented the approval of particular expense sheets.

ClickTime Version 9.03

ClickTime Version 9.03 includes the following updates:

  • Slack – You can now bring powerful time tracking and approval tools directly to your Slack workspace. Learn more about integrating ClickTime and Slack.
  • Integrations – We’ve updated the Integration page under the Company tab with information about the various integration opportunities now available with ClickTime including Salesforce, Jira, Slack, BambooHR, QuickBooks and more.
  • Business Intelligence & Analytics – improved overall performance.
  • REST API v2 – Added documentation for the GET /Reports/TimeSummary/Weekly endpoint to better explain what data gets returned when the StartDate or EndDate parameter’s value corresponds to a date in the middle of a week.

ClickTime Version 8.97

ClickTime Version 8.97 includes the following updates:

  • QuickBooks Desktop Connector – A new version is available that updates the embedded help links to properly show the relevant help topic. Also, we fixed a bug in which time entries were not labeled properly if an error occurred during the export. To get the update, you’ll need to uninstall the current version and download and install the latest version from the Integrations option under the Company tab.
  • REST API v2: Reports/Time – We updated the response description for the Reports/Time endpoint to provide more clarity.
  • Leave Types – Marking all “approval required” Leave Types as “inactive” will now hide the Time Off option from the Personal tab.
  • When projects, people, clients or tasks can’t be inactivated due to running stopwatches, the messaging is updated and includes a link to a tool to help resolve the stopwatches.
  • Improved performance when adding new Leave Types with audit logging enabled.
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue where custom terminology was not properly capitalized when the custom term includes more than one word (e.g. Project Center).
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue in which entering a new person and tabbing through the password fields prevented the person from being added successfully.
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue with the Bulk Update Leave Type balances tool in which balances did not get updated if modifications to future dates already existed.
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue with DCAA requirements in which a comment wasn’t required after midnight passed and a person saved a time entry modification for what is now “yesterday.”

ClickTime Version 8.86

ClickTime Version 8.86 includes the following updates:

  • A new version of the ClickTime Connector for use with QuickBooks® (Desktop) is now available. If you already have a previous version installed, you’ll need to uninstall the old version and install QBFC version 13 prior to installing the new version. The installation steps and necessary downloads can be found by signing into ClickTime, click on the Company tab and select “Integration” from the navigation bar.

ClickTime 7.95

The release of ClickTime 7.95 included additional backend updates to our REST API, a certificate update for our QuickBooks Connector, and some updates to automated emails. Here’s what’s included in this release:

  1. REST API – More updates were made to the backend of our REST API for future developments
  2. QuickBooks Connector – The certificate for our Connector was updated
  3. Custom Fields – The character limit was increased to assist companies that utilize this function
  4. Project Insights – We updated the remaining hours field to display more accurately
  5. Time Entry – We updated the page so clicking into certain fields no longer resulted in a client-side error
  6. Bug Fix: Timesheet Reminder links – An update was made so that links sent to companies using European date formats worked as intended

ClickTime 7.67

The release of ClickTime version 7.67 includes Person Detail and Expense Export improvements. Here's what's new in this release:

  1. Detail Person – We made several improvements to the new page for adding and editing people. The new page is now available to more companies and will continue to be rolled out to additional companies over the next several weeks.
  2. Expense Export (beta) – We added the ability to search by the expense amount and fixed miscellaneous issues with this report.
  3. QuickBooks Connector – Performance Improvements – We implemented changes to improve performance of retrieving job lists.

ClickTime 7.51

With the release of ClickTime version 7.51 we updated the QuickBooks Connector and made a variety of improvements. Here's what's new in this release:

  1. Timesheet Approvals – Customers using the Timesheet Approvals module can copy or "cc" additional people when submitting timesheets for approval.
  2. Resource Planning – Improved the initial page-loading process to better indicate progress.
  3. QuickBooks Connector – An update for the ClickTime QuickBooks Connector is now available and includes an updated security certificate. Anyone who already has a copy of the QuickBooks Connector installed should receive the update automatically the next time you launch the application. Prior versions are fully secure but their security certificate will expire in May 2014.
  4. Reviewing Timesheets – We updated the interface for selecting people's timesheets to review and fixed formatting issues with IE10.
  5. Bug fix: Week View – Sorting – Project and task lists now sort correctly.
  6. Bug fix: Week View – My Projects – Only projects selected in "My Projects" will now appear in the project list.

ClickTime 7.43

We are happy to announce the release of ClickTime version 7.43 with improvements to reporting and the employee detail page. Here's what's new in this release:

  1. Employee Detail Page Beta – We added support for custom fields and fixed issues displaying timesheet and expense sheet approvers in the updated beta version. Please try it out today and let us know of any issues or suggestions you have.
  2. ExpenseSheetsByClickTimeExpense Sheet - The printable expense sheet report now includes submission and approval details and displays your company logo if desired. It also references which expenses have receipt images that can be downloaded.
  3. QuickBooks 2014 – We verified that the ClickTime Connector for use with QuickBooks® is compatible with QuickBooks 2014.
  4. Reporting – Several project reports now offer a new filtering option. Companies configured to restrict project access on a "per division" or "per department" basis will now see a new "divisions" tab in the report filtering options. Selecting a division produces a report that includes only those projects to which that division has access.
  5. Bug fix: Reporting – Fixed an issue where clicking the "select all" option didn't always select checkboxes for inactive projects.
  6. Bug fix: Reporting – Fixed an issue where the "Time Off and Accrual Detail" report displayed an incorrect starting balance.
