ClickTime Version 9.15

ClickTime Version 9.15 includes the following updates:

  • ADP Payroll Integration – We’ve added an ADP Payroll Export report to the Miscellaneous section of the Reports menu under the Company tab.
  • Performance Improvements – We made various back-end improvements to increase performance and capacity.
  • Performance Improvements & bug fix – We resolved an issue that prevented people who sign in with Single Sign-On (SSO) from properly utilizing our content delivery network (CDN) for faster loading of static content (images, etc.). Also, now the default behavior for all people signing in is to use the CDN to improve performance.
  • Security Improvements – Our browser cookies now have the “Secure” flag set so that modern web browsers know to only send cookie data when using secure (https) connections.

ClickTime Version 9.13

ClickTime Version 9.13 includes the following updates:

  • NonProfit Setup Wizard – We made various improvements to the setup wizard for NonProfit organizations.
  • Time Off Requests – improved performance when making time off requests and approving them, especially for requests for longer periods of time.
  • Time Off Reports – Updated preview images for two time off reports that appear in “My Reports” under the Personal tab to clearly identify the images as showing sample data and not the logged-in person’s actual time off history.
  • SOAP – All requests to the SOAP API must now be made securely (https).
  • Bug fix – Fixed issues so that people who sign in with Single Sign-On (SSO) get returned to the appropriate SSO login prompt after signing out of the ClickTime web app.
  • Bug fix – Fixed issue in which a person was directed to the wrong page after clicking a link an Expense Sheet Approval notification email and authenticating using Single Sign-On (SSO).

ClickTime Version 9.11

ClickTime Version 9.11 includes the following updates:

  • Improved Notification Emails – We updated the appearance and now include additional helpful information in several emails including approved expense sheet, rejected expense sheet, time off request and rejected time off request notifications.
  • Audit Log – When exporting audit log data, it will now get split into separate files by date as follows: 2017 and older, 2018 through 2020, and 2021 and newer.
  • Bug fix – Fixed issue in which email “deep links” wouldn’t take the person to the correct page after authenticating using single sign-on (SSO).

ClickTime Version 9.01

ClickTime Version 9.01 includes the following updates:

  • Business Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) – this robust new platform allows you to visualize ClickTime data in new ways, monitor trends, schedule reports for automatic distribution, and more! BI&A is available to existing Enterprise and Premier customers. Please contact your Customer Success Manager, or the ClickTime Support Team, if you’d like to learn more.
  • REST API v2: Jobs/{jobID}/Divisions – Added the ability to manage Project List Controls for companies using the “moderate” setting (control which projects are visible to each division).
  • REST API v2: Jobs/{jobID}/Users – Added the ability to manage Project List Controls for companies using the “maximum” setting (control which projects are visible on a person-by-person basis).
  • REST API v2: Jobs/{jobID}/Tasks – Added the ability to manage Task List Controls for companies set to control which tasks are visible based on the project selected.
  • REST API v2 – Added the “TimesheetModelCustomNumberOfDays” property to the “GET /Company” endpoint.
  • Improved the “Action Comment” details listed in the audit log regarding timesheet actions (submitting, rejecting, approving, etc.).
  • Bug fix – Fixed issue with Azure AD single sign-on (SSO) logins that would fail when initiated from the identity provider.
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue with the REST API v2 “PATCH /ExpenseItems” endpoint when a manager edited an expense item and incorrectly attempted to change the mileage rate. The company’s default mileage rate is now used rather than setting the rate to zero.
  • Bug fix – Fixed an email issue when submitting an expense sheet for approval from the mobile app. Expense type names are now properly appearing in the expense sheet approval request email.

ClickTime Version 8.99

ClickTime Version 8.99 includes the following updates:

  • REST API v2 – Added the “SubjectToTimesheetCompletion” property to the /Me endpoint.
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue with the /Reports/TimeSummary/Weekly REST API v2 endpoint for people with middle-of-the-week start dates that could result in overlapping time periods getting returned.
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue with the REST API v2 in which a company with DCAA compliance enabled might be able to perform timesheet approval actions without entering an explanatory comment.
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue with Azure SSO when a person’s name included an accented character.
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue that showed an unnecessary warning message to some people when attempting to disable audit logging.

ClickTime Version 8.84

ClickTime Version 8.84 includes the following updates:

  • We deprecated support for the Desktop Application.
  • Bug fix – We fixed an issue affecting customers who authenticate with Single Sign-On (SSO), which prevented them from being able to use our mobile application.
  • Bug fix – We addressed an issue with the project popup from the Resource Planning grid, where a company’s custom term for Projects was not properly displayed.

ClickTime 7.96

The Release of ClickTime 7.96 included upgrades to our API, the creation of a “No Currency” option, and other updates. Here’s what was included in the release:

  1. IE10 and older – We no longer support the usage of older versions of Internet Explorer on the Company, Resource Planning or Project Insights pages
  2. Google SSO – TechSoup customers can now use Google Applications Single Sign-On Methods
  3. No Currency option – We created a “no currency” or “n/a” option for organizations that do not want their amounts to be currency-specific
  4. Bug Fix: REST API – REST API 1.3 calls will now exclude inactive users
  5. Bug Fix: Report Builder – We addressed an issue where updates to the Report Builder format removed the date range from the report
  6. Bug Fix: Notification URL – We updated the URL included in some notification emails for companies using the dd/mm/yyyy format

ClickTime 7.84

The release of ClickTime version 7.84 includes enhancements to Resource Planning, the Timesheet Review and the REST API. Here's what's new in this release:

  1. Resource Planning – We made numerous visual improvements including a redesigned company monthly summary. We also fixed an issue with the "Only Show Exceeded Allocations" filter.
  2. Timesheet Review – We implemented several visual improvements to the new Timesheet Review and fixed an issue that could cause your filters to reset after approving and rejecting timesheets.
  3. Detail Pages – We made various enhancements to the new pages for adding and editing people, clients and projects.
  4. REST API – You can now review, create, edit, delete and search for clients using version 1.3 of the REST API. If you're interested in building your own custom integration with ClickTime, check out our web services documentation.
  5. Change Password – We added an option to "Change my Password" to the Help menu.
  6. Bug Fix: Day View – We fixed an issue that prevented the editing of a timesheet entry when using Project List Controls and a person could enter time against more than 500 clients.

ClickTime 7.81

The release of ClickTime version 7.81 includes a new page design for adding and editing projects. We also made improvements to Resource Planning and Reports. Here's what's new in this release:

  1. Detail Project – We updated the UI for adding and editing projects. The new UI follows the same look-and-feel of the new "detail person" and "detail client" pages we released earlier this year.
  2. Resource Planning – It's now easier to identify inactive projects and people.
  3. Detail Client – We made several enhancements to the new page for adding and editing clients.
  4. Expense Sheet Approval – We improved the descriptions of your options when attempting to undo the approval of an expense sheet.
  5. Detail Person – We made various enhancements to the new page for adding and editing people.
  6. Single Sign-On (SSO) – The online help documentation about SSO is improved including instructions for configuring custom integration via SAML 2.0.
  7. Bug Fix: Company Dashboard – We fixed an issue with the Company Dashboard’s “Incomplete Time Entry” panel that caused the “all people” option to misbehave for people not configured to approve timesheets.
  8. Bug Fix: People List – A list view of hundreds of people will now continue to sort correctly after quickly changing the sort order several times.
  9. Bug Fix: Incomplete Time Entry Report – The report will only include people with time entry completion requirements.
  10. Bug Fix: Vertical Timesheet Report – Timesheet entries with start/end times for the same date will now sort in chronological order according to the start time.
  11. Week View and Firefox Pinned Tabs – In some instances, using pinned tabs with Firefox and restarting the browser while viewing Week View can result in “ghost entries” appearing when Firefox tries to restore the screen from your previous browser session. We resolved some occurrences of this issue, however, we recommend not using Week View in a pinned Firefox tab. Either use Day View to enter your time, Firefox without pinned tabs or a different browser.
