ClickTime 6.91

With the release of ClickTime version 6.91, we made it easier to update your employees' vacation and sick-leave balances and introduced other enhancements as follows:

  1. Update Vacation and Sick Leave Balances - We've made it easier for you to update the vacation and sick leave balances for multiple people simultaneously. A new option to "Update leave type balances" is available in the Advanced area under the Company tab. This makes it easier for companies who need to reset people's leave type balances (vacation, personal time, sick leave, etc.) at the beginning of the year.

The custom fields can be almost anything you want, including text, numbers, currency, pop-down lists and more.

    1. Customizable Data Export and Excel Linking – Custom fields associated with timesheet entries are exportable via the Customizable Data Export report. This custom field data is also directly retrievable within your own custom Excel charts and dashboards (via the Excel Linking feature available to Corporate customers).

    1. Timesheet View – We updated the Timesheet View to include Timesheet Custom Field information.

    1. Horizontal Timesheet – We updated the Horizontal Timesheet report to include Timesheet Custom Field information.

    1. Week View – You can now resize the column widths on your timesheet via the Options menu. This includes the ability to resize the client, job, task and custom field columns. You can also use custom fields in the Week View time entry screen with all supported browsers.

    1. Extended Session Length – We added longer session length options to all accounts, including Basic & Corporate customers. ClickTime 6.87

With the release of ClickTime version 6.87, we added the ability to duplicate clients and introduced other enhancements as follows:

  1. Duplicate a Client – You can now easily create a new client by duplicating an existing client. When duplicating the client, you will have the option to duplicate the billing rates, custom field values, and jobs associated with the client. When you duplicate the client's jobs, you may also duplicate each job's structure (e.g. phases and sub-phases) and restriction settings.
  2. Desktop Application – We improved tabbing between fields for people who prefer using keyboard-based field-to-field navigation. We also improved reliability under situations when an unreliable internet connection causes the application to flip quickly back-and-forth between an online and offline state. The next time you launch the Desktop Application it will automatically update to the latest version.
  3. ClickTime Connector for use with QuickBooks® – We fixed a couple of issues reported by customers regarding specific QuickBooks settings.
  4. Vertical Timesheet – We updated the Vertical Timesheet report to sort each day's entries by the start and end times as provided (for example, a timesheet entry starting for 10am to 11am appears before one that starts at 2pm and ends at 4pm).
  5. Day View (beta) – We fixed some issues that could cause timesheet entries to get duplicated.
  6. Ukrainian Hryvnia: We added the Ukrainian Hryvnia (UAH) as a currency option. You can now enter your expense items in this currency. You may also select the Ukrainian Hryvnia as your company's primary currency via Company Preferences.

ClickTime 6.85

With the release of ClickTime version 6.85, we've improved our integration with QuickBooks and added administrative controls for you to limit which employees may enter time off.

  2. ClickTime Connector for use with QuickBooks® – Setup Wizard: We added a setup wizard to help get you started with QuickBooks integration.
  3. Leave Type Controls: You can now control which employees have the ability to enter time off. You can further limit which leave types (e.g. vacation, sick leave, PTO, etc.) each person may enter time against. These settings can be controlled when editing an employment type or while editing a leave type.
  4. Chilean Peso: We added the Chilean Peso (CLP) as a currency option. You can now enter your expense items in this currency. You may also select the Chilean Peso as your company's primary currency via Company Preferences.

ClickTime 6.82

With the release of ClickTime version 6.82 we've continued to improve the horizontal timesheet reports as follows:

  1. Horizontal Timesheet Reports – Exclude Notes – We added the ability to exclude notes, start/end times and break times from the printed timesheet report. This can reduce the number of pages needed in PDF reports and printed timesheets.
  2. Horizontal Timesheet Reports – Aggregate vs. Timesheet Date Ranges – Based on customer feedback, we now provide two options when running the report. The "Timesheet" format will cause the report to be broken down into separate timesheet periods. The "Aggregate" option will allow you to arbitrarily select up to a month of timesheet entries and print it like one timesheet. Thus, with the aggregate option, even if your company uses a weekly timesheet in ClickTime, you can generate a two-week timesheet using the Aggregate option.

Thanks to all of those customers who continue to give us feedback. That feedback is what makes ClickTime better.

ClickTime 6.81

Following up on last week's release comes ClickTime version 6.81. The update includes improvements to our Day View beta, horizontal timesheet reports, list views, expense tracking, web services and more. The changes are as follows:

  1. Day View (beta) – We implemented numerous bug fixes and interface improvements.
  2. Horizontal Timesheet Reports – We refined the recently redesigned and rebuilt horizontal timesheet reports that appear in the "Reports" area under the Company tab and the "My Reports" area under the Personal tab. 3. List Views – We fixed an issue so that when reactivating a project from the Project list view, the project's associated client automatically gets reactivated if necessary. Additionally, deactivating a client from the Client list view will automatically deactivate all of its associated projects.
  4. Division List Export – We added the ability to export custom fields associated with divisions when running the "Division List Export" report.
  5. Web Services – We added a new method for obtaining detail information about divisions.
  6. Expenses – We fixed an issue which caused the wrong name to appear when a manager or administrator prints another person's expense sheet.

  1. New Horizontal Timesheet Reports – We rebuilt the horizontal timesheet reports that appear in the "Reports" area under the Company tab and the "My Reports" area under the Personal tab.
