ClickTime Version 9.32

ClickTime Version 9.32 includes the following updates:

  • Bug Fix – Fixed the inability to select “Leave Project Unchanged” option in the Bulk Find & Replace tool.
  • Bug Fix – Fixed an issue where a comma in a Custom Field name affected the List View display for Clients, Projects, Tasks, and Divisions.
  • Bug Fix – Fixed the “No Approver” filter in Time Entry Completion to return the correct list of people.

ClickTime Version 9.12

ClickTime Version 9.12 includes the following updates:

  • Time Entry Completion – We made various improvements to the Time Entry Completion feature.
  • Bug fix – We fixed an issue such that some custom fields that contain a right parenthesis character in the custom field name would not appear in the Business Intelligence & Analytics feature. This is now fixed.

ClickTime 6.97

With ClickTime version 6.97, we added the ability to define custom fields with a required value and other performance enhancements as follows:

  1. Custom Fields with Required Values – You can now define custom fields to require a value when creating or editing people, clients, projects and tasks.
  2. Audit Log Performance – We improved performance for generating audit log reports of timesheets, people, clients, projects and tasks.
  3. Web Browser Compatibility – We continue to support the most current versions of the most popular web browsers. This includes the recently released Chrome 18.x. Check out the ClickTime system requirements for more information about supported browsers.

ClickTime 6.9

With the release of ClickTime version 6.9, we added the ability to use custom fields in your timesheets and introduced other enhancements as follows:

    1. Timesheet Custom Fields – In addition to tracking client, project and task information, you can now easily add custom fields for your employees to fill out with each timesheet entry. The custom fields can be almost anything you want, including text, numbers, currency, pop-down lists and more.

 

    1. Customizable Data Export and Excel Linking – Custom fields associated with timesheet entries are exportable via the Customizable Data Export report. This custom field data is also directly retrievable within your own custom Excel charts and dashboards (via the Excel Linking feature available to Corporate customers).

 

    1. Report Builder – We’ve improved the Report Builder tool to support custom fields associated with timesheet entries. Now you can also include data from up to 15 different custom fields in each report that you create.

 

    1. Timesheet View – We updated the Timesheet View to include Timesheet Custom Field information.

 

    1. Horizontal Timesheet – We updated the Horizontal Timesheet report to include Timesheet Custom Field information.

 

    1. Week View – You can now resize the column widths on your timesheet via the Options menu. This includes the ability to resize the client, job, task and custom field columns. You can also use custom fields in the Week View time entry screen with all supported browsers.

 

    1. Day View (beta) – We updated this time entry interface to support custom fields and resizing of client, job, task and custom field column widths via the Options menu.

 

    1. Extended Session Length – We added longer session length options to all accounts, including Basic & Corporate customers. All customers who were previously set to the maximum length available (4 hours for Basic and 8 hours for Corporate customers) are now automatically set to 12 hours. In your company preferences, you may change this to a duration as long as 24 hours or as short as 30 minutes.

 

    1. Expense Sheets – We refreshed the look-and-feel of the expense tracking interfaces to match the updated aesthetics of the time-tracking portion of the application.

 

    1. Password Strength – We added 18 symbols to the allowed list of characters that can be used in your ClickTime password. Now you can create even stronger passwords than before.

 

    1. Omani Rial – We added the Omani Rial (OMR) as a currency option. You can now enter your expense items in this currency. You may also select the Omani Rial as your company’s primary currency via Company Preferences.

 

    1. Web Browser Compatibility – We continue to support the most current versions of the most popular web browsers. This includes the recently released Chrome 14 and Firefox 7. Check out the ClickTime system requirements for more information about supported browsers.

ClickTime 3.8

New features in ClickTime 3.8 include:

  • Reimbursable Expenses – ClickTime now offers the ability to identify specific payment types as non-reimbursable. The Expense sheet reports display the expense sheet total and the reimbursable total separately, making it easier to know the check amount for reimbursing someone.
  • QuickBooks Reimbursable Expense Export Report – This report is useful for exporting your reimbursable expense data to QuickBooks (U.S. versions only) for reimbursement and billing purposes.
  • Custom Fields in Export Reports – Now there is an option to include custom field information when using any of the Text and Excel time data export reports.
  • Expense Sheet Review Options – ClickTime has added options to make it easy to review expense sheets that have been approved and are waiting for payment. We’ve also added an option to quickly review only paid expense sheets.

ClickTime 3.0

ClickTime Web Timesheet 3.0 new features:

  • Foreign Currency Expenses – Enabling the Foreign Currency Expenses feature automatically converts a person’s expense item in a foreign currency into the company’s local currency.
  • New Managerial Permission – This new permission creates an option where a manager has the ability to generate reports but does not have the permission to view billing rates information (such as the billing amount column).
  • Cost Tracking – In order to calculate a project’s profitability, each person can be assigned a cost rate along with their current billing rates. By generate a report display both the cost amount and the billing amount, managers can determine a project’s profitability.
  • Custom Fields This feature gives administrators the ability to create additional fields within the ClickTime system.
