ClickTime 6.87

With the release of ClickTime version 6.87, we added the ability to duplicate clients, enhanced the Vertical Timesheet report, added the Ukrainian Hryvnia (UAH) as a currency option and updated the ClickTime Desktop Application and the ClickTime Connector for use with QuickBooks®.

With the release of ClickTime version 6.87, we added the ability to duplicate clients and introduced other enhancements as follows:

  1. Duplicate a Client – You can now easily create a new client by duplicating an existing client. When duplicating the client, you will have the option to duplicate the billing rates, custom field values, and jobs associated with the client. When you duplicate the client's jobs, you may also duplicate each job's structure (e.g. phases and sub-phases) and restriction settings.
  2. Desktop Application – We improved tabbing between fields for people who prefer using keyboard-based field-to-field navigation. We also improved reliability under situations when an unreliable internet connection causes the application to flip quickly back-and-forth between an online and offline state. The next time you launch the Desktop Application it will automatically update to the latest version.
  3. ClickTime Connector for use with QuickBooks® – We fixed a couple of issues reported by customers regarding specific QuickBooks settings.
  4. Vertical Timesheet – We updated the Vertical Timesheet report to sort each day's entries by the start and end times as provided (for example, a timesheet entry starting for 10am to 11am appears before one that starts at 2pm and ends at 4pm).
  5. Day View (beta) – We fixed some issues that could cause timesheet entries to get duplicated.
  6. Ukrainian Hryvnia: We added the Ukrainian Hryvnia (UAH) as a currency option. You can now enter your expense items in this currency. You may also select the Ukrainian Hryvnia as your company's primary currency via Company Preferences.

ColoPRamy, thanks for contacting us. We haven’t had any reports of issues with Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) but I’ve asked our QA team to confirm that the Desktop App and the rest of ClickTime work properly with Lion and will get back to you with an update once they’ve finished their testing.

It doesn’t work with Lion for me.
First of all, I had to restart my machine after downloading Silverlight because the click time download page would not otherwise recognise that Silverlight was installed. A message saying do this would be helpful.
Then when I finally succeeded in downloading the desk top app it crashed with the error

“The operation couldn’t be completed. (OSStatus error -43.)”

Not exactly informative.

I quite like the product, but I found the desk top app much better than the web page, I am hoping you can correct this otherwise I will face the nuisance of moving my company to a different service.
