ClickTime 8.04

ClickTime Version 8.04 is now live.

This release includes:

  1. The custom messages pages have had a visual refresh.

ClickTime 7.99

ClickTime Version 7.99 is now live.

This release includes:

  1. Project approvals drill down – We now have an option to open details about the work that was completed on the project from the page where the project specific time is approved.
  2. Resource planning capacity planning – we now exclude inactive users from total capacity.
  3. Bug Fix – we resolved an issue with the stopwatch failing on certain empty rows.

ClickTime 7.6

The release of ClickTime version 7.6 includes reporting, timesheet entry and visual improvements. Here’s what’s new in this release:

  1. Stopwatch Notifications – We refined the look-and-feel of how you get notified about running stopwatches in the navigation bar.
  2. “Today” on Day View – While filling out your timesheet one day at a time, there’s now another way to identify whether you’re on a day in the future or past and a button to jump back to the current day.
  3. “This Week” on Week View – You can also now easily identify whether you’re on a past or future week and click the “This Week” button to jump back to the current week.
  4. Resource Utilization Report – We added inline documentation to the on-screen (HTML) version of this report. Hover your mouse over the column headings to learn about the formulas used to calculate the report values.
  5. Resource Planning Export – The Resource Planning data export now supports exporting up to 1000 projects at a time.
  6. Bug fix: Auto Fill and Sub-Jobs – We fixed an issue with Auto Fill that prevented some sub-job values from automatically appearing on future days in the Day View timesheet entry page.
  7. Bug fix: Quick Day – We fixed an issue that, under specific conditions, only copied the first time entry from the previous day.

ClickTime 7.42

We are happy to announce the release of ClickTime version 7.42 with improvements to reporting and the employee detail page. Here's what's new in this release:

  1. Employee Detail Page Beta – We improved improved the functionality and fixed various issues on the new version. Once you try using the updated page, you will continue to use it when editing people in the future unless you choose to "opt out" of using the beta version.
  2. Reporting – More than 10 pre-built person, client, project and expense reports were enhanced with more output options (on-screen HTML, PDF or Excel) for all browsers and operating systems.
  3. Stopwatch – You can now easily clean-up abandoned stopwatches from previously approved timesheets.
  4. New Currency Option – We added the Vietnamese Dong as a currency option. You can now enter your expense items in this currency. You may also select it as your company's primary currency via Company Preferences.
  5. Bug fix: Timesheet View and Horizontal Timesheet Report - The daily column totals now maintain alignment properly as you switch between different timesheets.
  6. Bug fix: Reporting – Fixed an issue that could cause inactive clients and projects to appear in reports.
  7. Bug fix: Duplicating Projects - Fixed an issue that prevented some managers from duplicating projects using the link on the project detail page.

ClickTime 7.1

We are happy to announce the release of ClickTime version 7.1. Included in this release is sharing of custom reports, Google single sign-on, DCAA enhancements and many more new and improved features:

  1. Report Builder – Share Your Reports – You can now share reports you create using the Report Builder tool with other people in your company.
  2. Google Single Sign-On (SSO) – We now offer the ability to sign in to ClickTime using your Gmail or Google Apps account. Companies can choose whether to enable this option in the Security section of your company preferences.
  3. DCAA Enhancements – We've enhanced the overall functionality for companies who need to be compliant with DCAA guidelines. This includes an upgrade to the latest version of Day View which includes faster and less intrusive "DCAA explanation" entry. We've also added the flexibility to allow entering worked time on future dates for those companies that require it.
  4. Dashboard Panel – Recent Client WorkClient hours worked - Dashboard panelThere's a new dashboard panel showing client hours worked in the past week. Managers and administrators can add and customize this panel on their ClickTime Dashboard. The new dashboard panel will give your management team new insights into the performance of your company.
  5. Custom Sign-In Page – Enterprise customers now get a custom sign-in page with a custom URL (e.g. YourCompany.clicktime.com) and your company logo.The customizable appearance options are available only to Enterprise customers.
  6. Custom Branding – Enterprise customers now get custom branding inside the application which incorporates your Custom Branding in ClickTimecompany's logo and a selection of color "themes" to pick from. The customizable appearance options are available only to Enterprise customers.
  7. Company Logo on Reports – You can now easily add your logo to your company's timesheet report as well as 20 other pre-built reports. Go to the Customization area of your company preferences to add your company's logo.
  8. Reports Updated – We updated 20 pre-built reports to include options for viewing the report directly in your browser (HTML) or export them to PDF or Excel for all supported browsers and platforms. The updated reports also can display your company logo in the page header.
  9. Forecasting with ClickTime's Report BuilderReport Builder – Data Forecasting - You now can easily generate data forecasts in your charts. Report Builder uses a combination of statistical methods to generate values for future time periods.
  10. Day View & Stopwatch – We've made numerous improvements to the Day View time entry interface including an enhanced stopwatch.
  11. Old Week View - We no longer support the old Week View time entry interface. This was only used by IE6 which is not a supported browser. Unsupported browsers are still able to sign-in and use the old Day View interface to enter time.
  12. Web Browser and Operating System Compatibility – We continue to support the most current versions of the most popular web browsers and the latest operating systems. This includes the upcoming Windows 8 and the recently released Mac OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion), iOS 6, Firefox 15, Chrome 22, and Safari 6. Check out the ClickTime system requirements for more information about supported browsers.

ClickTime 5.17

New features in ClickTime 5.17 include:

  • Stopwatch – We’ve made various improvements to the stopwatch feature.

  • Export Reports – Upcoming Changes – For consistency across our various reports, we will be changing a couple of column headings in a few time and expense data exports.

ClickTime 4.6

New features in ClickTime 4.6 include:

  • Type-ahead Time Entry Selector – ClickTime now provides the ability to select the client and job using a type-ahead selector. For companies with more than 100 jobs, this makes filling out your daily timesheet much faster.
  • Stopwatch Timer – We have significantly improved the stopwatch feature and its integration with your company’s policies for recording time worked. Use it to record how long you have been working on a project.
  • Adjustment and Break Time Tracking – We now offer an adjustment option for recording break times. This simplifies the time tracking for people who record the start and end times while working. This can be combined with the stopwatch feature and provide valuable details for companies who need to track the exact hours that people are working on projects.

ClickTime 4.51

New features in ClickTime 4.51 include:

  • Desktop Application – version 2.0 beta – Our new beta release of the Desktop Application includes stopwatch timer, weekly summary, and other advanced features. You can download the beta version by logging in and going to the “Download” tab.
  • Web Services and Performance Enhancements – ClickTime’s Web Services now offers new methods and improved performance. Performance for time entry pages has also been significantly enhanced.
  • Updated Manual – The latest ClickTime manual is now available. Handheld Access documentation and a dynamic Table of Contents are included in this version.

ClickTime 4.01

New features in ClickTime 4.01 include:

  • Stopwatch Timer (beta) – We now provide an option to use a stopwatch for easily recording how long you have been working on a project. This feature is available on the Day View and can be enabled as an option in your “My Preferences” section.
  • Timeout Alerts – We now provide an alert message prior to your session timing out. If your session does time out, perhaps because you’ve walked away from your computer, an alert will stay on your screen to notify you.
  • Customizable Export Report – This new export report can be accessed from the Miscellaneous category. The report enables you to select what data to export during a given time period.
