ClickTime Version 8.95

ClickTime Version 8.95 includes the following updates:

  • Change Approver for Multiple People – Using new options from the “Actions” menu on the People list view under the Company tab, you can now change the timesheet, time off and expense approvers for multiple people at the same time. This makes necessary changes easier when people are on extended leave or transitioned into different roles.
  • We added a “Date Created” column to the Customizable Data Export report. This column shows the creation date for each time entry.
  • Bug fix – Resolved a couple of minor issues with the Expense endpoints in REST API v2.
  • Bug fix – Fixed issue that could result in Quick Week adding hours past a person’s end date.
  • Bug fix – Fixed issue with the “find and replace” time off that might cause an incorrect time off balance to be displayed.
  • Known issue – People using Internet Explorer (IE), which is no longer supported, cannot submit timesheets for approval from Week View. Attempting to do so will result in an error.

ClickTime Version 8.94

ClickTime Version 8.94 includes the following updates:

  • We added REST API v2 endpoints to support administrative Expenses functionality. Visit our REST API v2 documentation for more information on how to retrieve, create, update, and delete Expenses as an Administrator.
  • We added a “Date Created” column in the Timesheet Data Export reports, available under the Miscellaneous category from the Reports page. This column shows the creation date for each time entry.
  • Bug fix – We resolved a display issue on the “Update Leave Type Balances” page that could cause the date field to appear cut off.

ClickTime Version 8.81

ClickTime Version 8.81 includes the following updates:

  • Our Integrations page is updated to reflect additional SSO options and the currently-supported versions of QuickBooks.
  • Improved the look-and-feel of the “Time Off and Accrual Detail” report available from “My Reports.”
  • Bug fix – We resolved several miscellaneous issues with Resource Planning.
  • Bug fix – People using a specific version of the Safari browser will no longer lose their session when submitting, rejecting or approving expense sheets.
  • Bug fix – We resolved an issue when adding a person that could result in an Accrual Rate not getting saved if the corresponding Leave Type did not also have a Maximum Balance.

ClickTime Version 8.79

ClickTime Version 8.79 includes the following updates:

  • We improved the messaging seen by timesheet approvers when attempting to approve a not-yet-submitted timesheet that contains time for a project which requires a special approval process. The messaging instructs approvers that the timesheet needs to be submitted first, in order to go through the proper Project Approvals process.
  • When adding a new person to your account, the person’s starting time off balance may now be set to a negative value.
  • Implemented the SameSite cookie attribute to protect against Cross-site Request Forgery (CSRF) exploit attempts.
  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue that occurred when printing the Employee Performance report. Printed reports now properly include shaded areas of the graph.
  • Bug fix – Fixed issues when editing a person’s details by preventing browser extensions like LastPass from filling in some fields.
  • Bug fix – We now prevent various bad characters from being used in custom terminology for Clients, Projects, Divisions, and Tasks. We no longer allow characters that could lead to problems, including square and angle brackets as well as single and double quotes.

ClickTime Version 8.78 includes the following update:

  • Bug fix – Fixed an issue that caused the “People Allocations Summary” Resource Planning report to include Time Off under “Capacity.” The “Capacity” column in the report now correctly reflects the “Available Hours” in the Resource Planning grid for each person.

ClickTime 8.01

ClickTime Version 8.01 is now live.

This release includes:

  1. Overtime Reporting – As part of our overtime initiative, two new reports have been added to provide visibility to time that is worked over 40 hours a week and over 8 hours a day.
  2. Bug Fix – Resource Planning. When adding a lifetime budget, the budget is added and the page reloads without needing to be refreshed or reopened.
  3. Bug Fix – Resource Planning. An issue with the budget rounding down in “budget left to work” column has been fixed.
  4. Bug Fix – Resource Planning. The hours to allocate style has been updated to include correct color highlights.

ClickTime 7.79

The release of ClickTime version 7.79 includes improvements to reporting and compatibility with Windows 10. Here's what's new in this release:

  1. Report Menu – You can set the new Report Menu as your "home page" so that it's the first thing you see each time you sign in.
  2. Incomplete Time Entry Report – You can now access this report directly from the new Report menu.
  3. Detail Client – We made several enhancements to the new page for adding and editing clients. This includes a "Save and Add Next" button to make entering multiple clients faster and easier.
  4. Resetting Your Password – We updated the "forgot your password" experience. Along with a refined appearance, it will now communicate if you try to use an expired "reset password" link.
  5. Windows 10 & Browser Compatibility – We continue to support the most current versions of the most popular web browsers. This includes Windows 10 with Microsoft's new Edge browser as well as the recently released Chrome 44 and Firefox 39.
