ClickTime Version 9.28

ClickTime Version 9.28 includes the following updates:

  • Timesheet Attestation – Timesheet attestation provides admins the ability to display their organization’s custom attestation clause to employees at timesheet submission. Timesheet attestation is exclusively available through the Web App. Timesheet attestation through the Mobile App will be available in an upcoming release.
  • Resource Planning Data Export (csv) Filtering – We’ve added the ability to filter by Clients, Projects, and Divisions on the Resource Planning Data Export (csv).
  • Timesheet Approvals Email Design – Timesheet notification emails (Submission, Rejection, and Approval) now have an updated design and more insightful information about the timesheet.
  • Dashboard News – The dashboard news panel on the Company Dashboard has been updated with new content.
  • Bug Fix – Fixed a navigation error. Clicking on Custom Fields from the Labels Page now correctly navigates to the Custom Field List View, rather than prompt to create a new Custom Field.

What’s Changed

Introducing our new look!

In the next few weeks, we will be rolling out the first of our new administrative pages. Today's release will not affect your information nor will it be noticeable unless you opt-in to seeing the changes.

What to expect

People who opt in will be given access on an ongoing basis. Once we've granted you access, you'll see the redesigned person page the next time you edit or create a person in ClickTime. If you are still viewing the classic version of the page, you can check out the new version by clicking the "opt-in" link at the top of the of the classic page.

Our focus behind the visual design of this new page is ease of use and legibility. We didn't want to reinvent our own wheel, but we saw room for improvement. We created a design that can be used as a template for our other administrative pages, as well as set the tone for future design and performance improvements in the ClickTime universe.

So what's next?

This page is just the first in an ongoing rollout of our administrative pages. We chose the Person Detail page as it is one of the most frequently used pages, and can be one of the most complex for our users.

ClickTime - Person Detail read and edit modes

Going forward this new year, we will be slowly releasing similar redesigned administrative pages in ClickTime. We look forward to hearing your thoughts and feedback on our new look!
