We are happy to announce the release of ClickTime version 6.8. The update includes new functionality and performance improvements to our Timesheet View and Horizontal Timesheet reports. The changes are as follows:
- New Horizontal Timesheet Reports – We rebuilt the horizontal timesheet reports that appear in the "Reports" area under the Company tab and the "My Reports" area under the Personal tab. You can now run these reports for any length of time (no more 16-day limit!) and all supported browsers and operating systems can access the HTML and PDF versions of this report. In addition to a new look-and-feel that matches what's seen in Timesheet View, you can now control whether it includes client, task, phase and sub-phase information in the report.
- Timesheet View – We've made improvements to the printable (PDF) version based on customer feedback. Printing a timesheet from the Timesheet View will now produce the same result as printing the Horizontal Timesheet report.
- Day View (beta) – We implemented numerous improvements and bug fixes to the beta time entry screen. We also added the ability to delete a time entry by entering a zero in the hours field (unless your account is configured to allow zero-hour entries). We appreciate all of the customers who are giving us feedback on this new time entry page.
- Week View – We made various improvements to the Week View time entry interface including the ability to delete a time entry by entering a zero in the hours field (unless your account is configured to allow zero-hour entries).
- Updated UI – We updated the look-and-feel of many of the pages under the Personal tab and made some minor enhancements to other pages.
- Expenses – We made it easier for administrators and managers to print or download employee expense sheets and receipts while reviewing expense sheets.
- Fluid App Support – You can now login using Fluid web apps created from Fluid 1.0.
- Web Browser Compatibility – We continue to support the most current versions of the most popular web browsers. This includes Chrome 11 and versions 3.6 and newer of Firefox. Check out the ClickTime system requirements for more information.

The new system now prints out the horizontal timesheet on three separate pages. It also includes days which fall outside of the pay period report I am trying to print: Jun 1 thru Jun 15. What this means is that the client has to now sign three spearate pages and the hours are not just from Jun 1 thru Jun 15 but few days earlier and after are also included. Please HELP. This upgrade is NOT helpful at all. Can I simply print the hours on ONE page EXACTLY within the specified date range?

Some of the changes in the new Horizontal Timesheet report aren’t ideal for all customers, such as yourself, and we’re actively working on making improvements to accommodate the requests and feedback we’re receiving. Our support team has already reached out to your company’s ClickTime administrators in order to provide you with an immediate solution, enabling you to produce the old report that you’re accustomed to. We hope this helps you get the data you need while we continue to enhance the Horizontal Timesheet report.
